WEEK 6 : WEEKLY REFLECTION

 6th week of my school internship phase 1 at Mount Tabor Girls High School, Pathanapuram Day 21 07/09/2026 (Monday) I reached the school at 9:20 a.m. and signed the attendance register. Then I went to the staff room and met my mentor teacher. I showed my lesson plan and received suggestions from my mentor. After making the necessary changes, I completed my work. I had a teaching period in VIII H during the fourth period, where I taught multiplication and division using real-life examples. In the afternoon, a PTA meeting was conducted for the UP and HS students, except for Class X students. The session gave me an opportunity to improve my teaching and classroom management skills. I left the school at 3.50 pm. Day 22 08/09/2026 (Tuesday) Annual Sports Meet🏆🥇 The school conducted its annual Sports Meet, which was a two-day programme. SCHOOL SHASTRAMELA

                  SCHOOL SHASTRAMELA  The School Shasthramela was held on Friday, 11.09.2026 at 10:00 am. Many students participated with great enthusiasm. Various exhibits like still models, working models, art works, cloth printing, flower making, incense stick making, number charts and experiments were displayed. Students presented their works and shared their ideas. I got a chance to examine and evaluate the Mathematics exhibits along with other teachers. The event was very interesting, creative and gave me a valuable learning experience.

Aksharamuttam Quiz

                   AKSHARAMUTTAM QUIZ On 09/09/2026 , during the fifth period, I helped the teachers conduct the Aksharamuttam Quiz for the LP and UP students. I assisted the teachers in arranging the students and ensuring the smooth conduct of the quiz. The students participated actively and showed great enthusiasm throughout the programme. It was a useful experience for me to observe and support an academic quiz conducted at the school level.

ANNUAL SPORTS MEET

                    SPORTS DAY🏆 08 /09/2026, the day was the Annual Sports Meet of the school, which was conducted as a two-day programme. I reached the school at 9:00 a.m. and signed the attendance register. The day began with the preparation of the venue. We helped the teachers arrange the students in house-wise lines and then moved to the school ground. The programmes began after the inaugural ceremony, which was followed by a march past. The inauguration was done by the Patanapuram Sub-Inspector, Shri. Abhilash A. R. We were assigned different responsibilities to support the smooth conduct of the events. We helped the teachers, distributed refreshments to the students, monitored the games, and reviewed the events. WEEK 5 : WEEKLY REFLECTION

 5th week of my school internship phase 1 at Mount Tabor Girls High School, Pathanapuram Day 16 31/08/2026 (Monday) The day began with the prayer. I reached the school at 9:20 am. After signing the attendance register, I moved to staffroom. I met my mentor teacher to review the lesson plan. He gave answer sheets of VIII H for valuation. I had a teaching period on the sixth period. It was the first day after the onam vacation. I taught them construction of regular polygons in different ways. Students were excited to construct regular polygons. The session gave me an opportunity to improve my teaching and classroom management skills. I left the school at 3.50 pm.   Day 17 01/09/2026 (Tuesday) I reached the school at 9:00 am. Today, the postponed first terminal examination was conducted for the students of classes VIII, IX and X. Teachers' Day Meeting

 A teachers’ meeting was held in the staff room on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. The Headmaster addressed the teachers and delivered a short speech highlighting the importance of teachers and their role in shaping students’ lives. The meeting provided an opportunity for the teachers to come together and celebrate the occasion. After the speech, the Headmaster distributed cakes to the teachers.

"Arivanu Lahari" : a Quiz Competition

  Mount Tabor HS Pathanapuram organised a quiz competition titled " Arivanu Lahari " under the auspices of its Vimukthi Club on September 2, 2026. Held at 1:00 PM in the School Auditorium, the event aimed to promote awareness against substance abuse and inspire students to build a drug-free society through the power of knowledge. Participants competed in two-member teams, answering questions centered on four core topics: the Indian Constitution, the history of the Indian freedom struggle, substance abuse and its related health hazards, and the ongoing anti-narcotic initiatives under Kerala's "Vimukthi" mission.
