A study on Waste management practices in school

As part of the paper EDU 11 – Developmental Perspectives in Education, I conducted a study on waste management practices in the school. The school maintains a clean and organized campus through proper waste segregation and regular disposal. Composting and gardening activities are encouraged, along with efforts to minimize plastic use. Students and teachers actively participate in maintaining cleanliness and creating environmental awareness. However, the school can further improve its waste management system by strengthening recycling and reuse mechanisms, especially for plastic and other recyclable materials. Overall, the study helped me understand the importance of reducing, reusing, recycling, and developing responsible environmental practices for a sustainable school environment.
