"Arivanu Lahari" : a Quiz Competition






 

Mount Tabor HS Pathanapuram organised a quiz competition titled "Arivanu Lahari" under the auspices of its Vimukthi Club on September 2, 2026. Held at 1:00 PM in the School Auditorium, the event aimed to promote awareness against substance abuse and inspire students to build a drug-free society through the power of knowledge. Participants competed in two-member teams, answering questions centered on four core topics: the Indian Constitution, the history of the Indian freedom struggle, substance abuse and its related health hazards, and the ongoing anti-narcotic initiatives under Kerala's "Vimukthi" mission.

 Day 1 15/07/2026 The first day of Phase I of my teaching practice marked the beginning of an exciting and enriching journey. I reached the school at 9:00 a.m. with great enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility. After signing the attendance register, I met the Headmaster, who warmly welcomed all the teacher trainees and guided us to the staffroom. WEEK 2 : Weekly Reflection

 2nd week of my school internship phase 1 at Mount Tabor Girls High School, Pathanapuram  Day 3 21/07/2026 ( Tuesday) I reached the school at 9:00 a.m. and signed the attendance register along with the other teacher trainees. After that, I met my mentor teacher and discussed the lesson plan prepared for the day. During the fourth period, I taught some equations relating to the general identity of squares of differences to the students of Class VIII H. Later, I carried out invigilation duty in Class VIII H during the second period. The day gave me another opportunity to improve my teaching and classroom management skills.
